The war with the salamanders

The war with the salamanders is the book written by Carel Kapek in 1929. He wrote it between the two world wars, and he predict The Second World Wars.

The main character is all the salamanders that are discovered by a sailor, the captain Van Toch.

There's a parallelism between the salamanders and the nazi expansion. Bouth arrive to have the control; the nazis of Europe, and the salamanders of the human society.

The argument is progressive: the salamanders start in a small island where the sharks eat to him. For this reason they can not to expansive. But when the captain Van Toch arrive, he give to him tools, and the salamanders take pearls for all the sea of the Filipinas. Then appear companys that sell salamanders to he states or other companies to build anything.

So gradually the salamanders start to take up all the world, and take the power because they are more numerous.

That's a apocalypse of the humans that prevent the Second World War.
